AEHI "Info Line": Dodges Questions, Admits Late Filings

Below is a really interesting email received today.  The name of the guy Don keeps blaming for authorship of this blog has been omitted. The name of the emailer and his email address were omitted at his request. Emphasis has been added to highlight some of the more outlandish things. Editorial commentary will be on a later post.
For now, enjoy- Don Gillispie, CEO, and AEHI, as they really are:

Dear "AEHI Truth Blog" Author:
Below you will find an email exchange I had earlier today with someone from Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc., in an attempt to get their side of, or answers to, the questions you raise regarding the $50,000 check and the late filings.
As you will see, the answers I was given were troubling from the perspective of a potential investor- they did not treat my inquiries with respect, choosing to launch an irrelevant ad hominem attack at the author rather than answer my questions directly.  The responder then described a suspicious 'oral agreement with the board' for the CEO to take over One million dollars in cash whenever he wanted as justification for the 50,000 check, but did not answer on the late filings until pressed a second time, to which they misleadingly admitted to a 'couple of form 4s" being late when they switched attorneys- betraying their lack of understanding of the importance of timely filing insider trades.
Please feel free to post this, with my name and email redacted, as an example of how this company chooses to treat difficult questions from potential investors.

Hi,
Could you offer some clarification as to the check for $50,000 I read about here?-
http://aehitruth.blogspot.com/2010/11/case-cv-oc-2008-11412-plaintiffs.html
and the apparent late SEC filings listed here?

Mr. "X",

Mr. [name of person not connected with this blog] is rabid opponent of our Idaho nuclear plant and this blog seeks to share misinformation to always put the company in a negative light. He reports misinformation and incorrect filing dates to put us in a bad light as well.  He has no experience running a public company and is creative in his charges against us.
Mr. Gillispie started the company out of his own retirement funds and the board has agreed he is entitled to be re-reimbursed in cash over $1 million if  he wanted to take it for startup costs and also, he worked the first 5 years like the directors without a salary. Without him doing that, there would be no AEHI. We doubt Mr. [same name of person] who has restraining orders, required anger management training and many debt liens in doing business in Idaho has ever made such a sacrifice. Our auditors found no discrepancy in our books in 2008. This is Mr.[same wrong name] trying to paint a negative picture of AEHI because he simply hates nuclear power in Idaho…he is not an honorable man.
The company filed a complaint with the Idaho Attorney General recently over this kind of misinformation and false charges from Mr. [wrong name again] and Streetsweeper.
AEHI is in compliance with all reporting to the SEC and is designated as fully reporting, and would not be trading on OTBQX if not.
Thank you for your questions.

Is the potential cash reimbursement of over $1 million shown as an amount due or account payable to an officer of the company?  And are you saying the filing dates as shown in that article there are wrong?
I was also wondering about the status of that complaint with the Attorney General.
Thank you.

No, it was an offered orally, but he never claimed it so it is not on the books as the company needs the money….this company is like his son..everything to help it succeed…no debt because he uses his own funds to keep it going as needed…looks like we may be past that point now…
The complaint was just filed….AGs rarely conduct quick investigations

I'm a potential investor with a lot of experience, and successful because I ask questions.  I don't recall ever being questioned as to my status when I inquire of potential issues with a company, but I understand the hype can be tiring.
Not sure how an oral agreement that he can take money out sits with me as I would expect a dividend to be paid when the plant begins production.
The filing dates? Are they incorrect as shown on the article?

That’s wise…he does not take money out regularlyhe now takes a salary but often takes less instead…but know he has put it in regularly at times to pay for things….he is one most honest and generous man I know…he was recently was selected as Honorary Wing Commander at the Mountain Home Air Force Base and Idaho Business Man of the Year by American Solutions….background checked by Home Land Security to meet Prime Minister of Korea and undersecretary of Energy in China…..
Dividends will be paid …these deregulated nuclear plants are very profitable and these startup costs are tax losses anyway
The only filings that were late was when we changed attorneys earlier this year and couple form 4s I think were late but in the required quarter we never have we missed an important filing like a 10Q or 10K…that summarize happenings and we use lots of press releases to keep people informed…
Mr. Gillispie says, anti-nukes will only spook skeptical investors that don’t do their homework anyway and day traders
Good luck investing and Happy Thanksgiving

I have contacted the blog author regarding some of your responses.  Their response was that your claim that [wrongly assumed person] is the blog author is false.
I'm not sure what relevance the authorship of the blog is and what this [other] fellow's participation has to do with the dates your form 4s were filed.  They were for ownership changes, and are pretty important for investors to know what insiders are doing with shares in a timely fashion.

  1. He now takes a salary?!! What, he tells everyone at every meeting he and the board receive no compensaton!! Maybe that is part of the $2.5 million spent in the last 9 months for board and officer services. Between that and the almost $.5 million spent on legal fees the rest of the company expenses look small.
