"Standing up for what's right"- supposedly Don's wordpress blog entry about the suit which contains priceless little gems like:
"We have passed two SEC-required independent financial audits in our short history and if anything were even slightly amiss, we’d have heard about it from sources far more knowledgeable than the Snake River Alliance."
"The statements are an outrage against these fine men who, in their retirement, are working without compensation to help the nation meet its energy needs."
"Our critics might claim we are trying to stifle public debate and silence our opposition, but the truth is just the opposite."
"AEHI sues anti-nuclear group for comments intended to harm the company"- Contains these little nuggets of wisdom:
"The comments, broadcast Aug. 11, defame the company, its board, its stockholders and development team, said AEHI President and CEO Donald Gillispie."
" Someone has to hold them accountable."
That lawsuit went down in flames on January 16, 2009, when the Judge granted SRA's Motion to Dismiss, issuing a judgment that reads, "...judgment is entered in favor of the Defendants and against the Plaintiff, and that the Plaintiff's claims are dismissed on the merits, that the Plaintiff take nothing by way of the complaint, and that the Defendants recover from the Plaintiffs their cost of action."
That sounds pretty clear. Until you get to AEHI and Don Gillispie's Up-is-Down, Black-is-White Bizarro-World, that is. Here is the headline for their almost painful-to-read spin on it (hold on to floor to keep from losing balance):
"Snake River Alliance Backs Out of Defamatory Statements"
That's a howler enough. But wait, there's more!
In Don's deposition for the upcoming civil case, he is asked about this lawsuit and its outcome:
Q: And did that lawsuit go to trial?
A: No-well, effectively, I guess it did. Essentially, we got a ruling, that they had said that it wasn't- that it was their opinion. It was not a fact.
Q. Okay- And so who-
A: And so we backed out.
Excuse me? Come again? How's that?
Earlier, the question was "Which story is it, Don?" But maybe, it's actually Don's long lost evil twin, showing up and making contradictory statements just to make poor Don look bad. Which gives rise to a new question when evaluating any of AEHI's statements:
Which Don is it?
"The truth is just the opposite"- AEHI CEO Don Gillispie
"No, it isn't"- Alternate Ego CEO Nod Eipsillig
Here's an anagram generator, where we can have fun rearranging the letters "Don Gillispie"
Highlights from the list: "Lips doing lie" and "Doing lie slip."

ReplyDeleteI arrived here following links from the newspaper article and I can honestly say this is the most childishly presented crap I have ever read.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Mr. Ireland works for the Idaho Department of Commerce. Or did. He likely has a part time job working for Gillispie and crew.
ReplyDeleteI suspect he must also be a stock holder of AEHI. He has been one of their most ardent pushers for some time.
He obviously hasn't read the information on this blog. While there is some rather great humor her, (at Don Gillispie's expense), there is nothing childish about stock manipulation and fraud. And there is no crap here except the stuff from or about AEHI, Don Gillispie, or his kind.
If this is the best that the Idaho Department of Commerece has then it is no wonder the economy is in the crapper.
